How to build a goat house using wood pallets. goats are a wonderful addition to a family! we appreciate them so much! but it was time to build them a sufficient goat shelter for winter.. Accordingly, we need to house george away from the nannies, and so we decided to build him a little house out of scrap pallets. the finished house is shown to the right. as usual, we kind of got carried away with overkill.. I need to build some goat houses, and i have a ton of pallets. they are really nice and new and the wood is great. i would like them to be large enough for two nigerian dwarfs to go into, and i just want something three sided so i can duck in there to feed (i would be wanting to attach a feeder to the back wall.).
We then took plywood and out it on the sides, put the tin on the roof & the vinyl floor in, the vinyl floor makes clean up super easy ! after i took the pictures we took one more pallet and put in the front to close it some & also fixed a "door" so we can close them in at night.. Pallet goat shed you are going to see multiple goat houses in this post made out of pallets. i love all things pallet constructed, and i think most of you probably will too.. Free goat shelter plans [for 3-6 goats!] check out my video on how i take my pallets apart. previously, i used pallets to build shelters for my goats that worked great! they kept the goats all warm and snuggly all through the cold winter months.
